Our deficits are a problem. But we also need to invest in education, health care and infrastructure to strengthen our nation’s competitiveness. How can we structure a budget that reduces the deficit while investing in people and infrastructure?

The President has proposed improving the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Savers' Credit and tax help for low-income college students. How will you promote these, including ensuring that they have any required budget offsets?
